AM I THE PHOTOGRAPHER FOR YOU?

Families: Family is extremely important to me.  I love looking at family photos from my childhood and from my early days as a parent.  I want to create beautiful portraits for you that showcase the love and fun you have as a family.  

Parents: I want to create heirloom photo albums and wall art for you to look at when you are missing your child while they are at college or when you are feeling nostalgic for their childhood. I want to showcase the unique persoanlity of your child.

Seniors: I am the photographer for the girl or boy who doesn't think that they are pretty enough, skinny enough, strong enough or smart enough. I want to show you the beautiful, unique person we see when we look at you.  I want to make you feel known and that you ARE enough. I want you to have an afternoon away from all of the pressures of school and social media and have fun. I want to make your senior portraits all about you, your personality, your interests, and what makes you you. 

Wedding Couples: I want to be the photographer that captures one of the most important days in your life. It is such an honor when a couple chooses me to photograph their wedding.  I will be your biggest hype person and help you in any way that I can with planning your ceremony. I will create a custom timeline for your day so that it can be as stree-free as possible.  I look forward to creating stunning portraits and capturing all of the special moments and details of your wedding.

Dancers: As a former dancer and  as a mother of a dance teacher, I am the photographer for you because I have an intimate understanding of the art form and can anticipate the movements of the dancers, allowing me to capture the perfect moments. I strive to convey the emotion and energy of a dance performance through my photographs.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are your hours?

I am open to shooting a session anytime of the day.  My favorite time for a session is about 2 hours before sunset, but I can make anytime work. 

Where are you located?

I am based out of Brownsburg, IN.  If you are in a 50 mile radius of Indianapolis, then I can travel to your location at no extra charge.  Locations outside of the 50 mile radius will incur an extra fee based on mileage.

How Do I Schedule?

It's easy.  You will find a link to my on-line booking calendar at the bottom of this page. You can choose the type of session, date, and time that works best for you. Once, you choose a date, I will send you an invoice for your session fee.  This must be paid in order to hold your session date and time.

What payment options do you accept?

I can accept cash, check, credit card, Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle. Checks should be made payable to Kelly Dawn Photography.

How long before I receive my proofing gallery?

My goal is to provide you a proofing gallery within 2 weeks of the session.  Most clients will receive their galleries in about 7 days.  Busier times of the year, like fall, can take longer.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Cancellation of a photo session made two weeks prior to the appointment date will be honored and the full deposit will be refunded. Cancellations made within two weeks of the appointment date will result in the forfeiture of any deposits made.
